Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you buy goods from Paul Hicks Miniatures through this website. Please read them before placing an order.

About us

Paul Hicks Miniatures is based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us at Paul Hicks Miniatures, Block D Unit D24, Hartley Business Centre, Haydn Road, Nottingham, NG5 1DG, United Kingdom, by email at paulhicks3112@icloud.com or by telephone on +44 7799 018398.

Products

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Miniatures are supplied as described on the relevant product page and may require assembly and preparation. Painted examples, scenery and accessories shown in photographs are not included unless the product description says otherwise.

Orders and payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the goods in your basket. We will send an order confirmation after checkout. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if, for example, an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing error, payment cannot be authorised or we are unable to deliver to the address supplied. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

Prices and any applicable taxes and shipping charges are shown at checkout before payment. Payment is taken using the payment methods made available through the store.

Delivery

Orders are fulfilled on our behalf by Footsore Miniatures & Games in the UK. Shipping charges are calculated according to destination and order weight. Please see our Shipping & Delivery page for further information.

We aim to dispatch and deliver orders within a reasonable time. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and international orders can be delayed by customs or local postal services. Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, UK consumer law generally requires goods to be delivered within 30 days of the contract being made.

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer buying online, you will normally have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason from the time the contract is made until 14 days after the goods are delivered. To exercise this right, contact us clearly stating that you wish to cancel.

After telling us you wish to cancel, you should return the goods without undue delay and normally within 14 days. Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not as described, you are normally responsible for the cost of returning them.

Some goods are excluded from the statutory cancellation right, including goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. This does not affect your rights if those goods are faulty or not as described.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms. If goods arrive damaged, faulty, incorrect or incomplete, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and, where useful, photographs. We will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

Refunds

Refunds will be made to the original payment method. Further details are set out on our Returns & Refunds page.

International orders

For orders outside the UK, local taxes, import duties or handling charges may apply depending on the destination. Any taxes or duties that we collect at checkout will be shown before payment. Charges not collected by us may be payable to the relevant authority or carrier.

Website and intellectual property

The text, photographs, artwork, designs and other content on this website are owned by Paul Hicks Miniatures or used with permission. They may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects rights that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your purchase are those in force when your order is placed.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or another country, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws that apply where you live.
